Faculty & Curriculum
In 2001, Body Language Dance Company opened it's doors to community families as a very small family run business. Founder, Casie Vaughn-Ryan taught all of the students out of a single classroom. Since then, Body Language Dance Company has grown to include an educational team with 15 adult instructors and four office staff members. Our experienced adult instructors offer a comprehensive program for students of all ages and ability levels in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre and pre-school dance.
Our commitment to our students drives us to invest in our personal growth and development as dance teachers, educators and mentors. BLDC instructors attend continuing education events including dance conventions, teacher’s conferences and seminars. The curriculum used in our programs have been fine-tuned over the past 15 years and brings our faculty's talent, experience, knowledge and understanding of teaching dance effectively into our classrooms.
Our faculty is devoted to giving each student the individual attention they deserve. Qualified, adult instructors bring joy to the lives of young people by exposing them to the exciting world of dance. Whether a student attends one class a week or twenty, our students thrive with the genuine care and quality instruction provided by their dance teacher.
