SUMMER CLASS REQUIREMENTS
ALL standard competition team dancers must attend a minimum of eight days during the summer. Comp Plus dancers must complete ten days.
Summer tuition is $520 and includes all Multi-discipline Days, Ballet Intensive, Tap & Jazz Intensive and the Technique Intensive. Dancers are encouraged to attend as many summer classes as possible. Tuition is paid in two payments of $260 on June 15 & July 15.
Ages 10 & Up:
Summer tuition is $760 and includes all Multi-discipline Days, Ballet Intensive, Tap & Jazz Intensive and the Technique Intensive. Dancers are encouraged to attend as many summer classes as possible. Tuition is paid in two payments of $380 on June 15 & July 15.
- The TAP/JAZZ INTENSIVE and BALLET INTENSIVE will count as 2 days each, and conclude with a short showcase.
- The TECHNIQUE INTENSIVE will count as 2 days.
- One Acro session can count as one day (additional fee).
- Pre-Pointe and Pointe classes are by teacher invitation only. We will contact eligible dancers for Pre-Pointe and Pointe registration on June 3. Additional tuition fees will apply.
- Please contact BLDC for Acro placement prior to registration (exception: Intro to Acro). Placements will be sent on June 12 for Acro Session 1 and July 6 for Acro Session 2

ACRO
Two 6-lesson sessions of acro classes will be offered this summer. Acro is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. A defining characteristic of acro is the smooth, graceful transitions between dance and acrobatic movements. Acro teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, and above all discipline and concentration. We highly encourage dancers to take Acro class to help enhance their dancing.
If you elect to have one session of Acro count as one of your dancer's required days, there is an additional fee. Fees are outlined below.
Acro A:
First Acro Session: Additional $70 added to summer tuition due on June 15
Second Acro Session: Additional $120 added to summer tuition due on July 15
Acro B, C, or D
