Faculty & Curriculum

In 2001, Body Language Dance Company opened its doors to community families as a small, family-run business. Founded by Casie Vaughn-Ryan, the studio began with Casie teaching all students out of a single classroom. Since then, BLDC has blossomed into a thriving institution, boasting an educational team comprising 17 adult instructors and four office staff members.

At BLDC, we offer a comprehensive program for students of all ages and ability levels. From ballet and pointe to tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre, and pre-school dance, our experienced adult instructors cover a wide range of dance styles to cater to every dancer's interests and aspirations.

Our commitment to our students extends beyond the dance studio. We believe in investing in our personal growth and development as dance teachers, educators, and mentors. That's why our instructors regularly attend continuing education events, including dance conventions, teacher's conferences, and seminars. This dedication ensures that our curriculum remains finely tuned and reflects the collective talent, experience, knowledge, and understanding of teaching dance effectively.

At BLDC, our faculty is dedicated to giving each student the individual attention they deserve. Our qualified adult instructors bring joy to the lives of young people by exposing them to the exciting world of dance. Whether a student attends one class a week or twenty, they thrive under the genuine care and quality instruction provided by their dance teacher.

Join us at Body Language Dance Company and experience the transformative power of dance in a nurturing and supportive environment.
