BLDC offers several options for Adult Classes throughout the dance season. An Adult Beginning Tap class, Adult Intermediate Tap, and Adult Beginning/Intermediate Ballet.

We will also hold classes for adult dancers in Jazz Funk and Intermediate/Advanced Tap. These classes typically begin in January/February. Please notify the BLDC office if you are interested in receiving information regarding adult class options.

Requirement: Dancers must have previous tap experience.
Shoes: Any brand/style of black tap shoes. High heels are NOT recommended.

The class will be focusing their class time on preparing a dance for the Spring Recital. The Spring Recital is scheduled for the weekend of June 2-3, with a dress rehearsal on June 1. Recital participation requires the purchase of a recital package. Cost varies depending on your selection.

ADULT JAZZ FUNK
Adult Jazz Funk is a fusion of jazz and hip-hop dance styles. Beginning each class with a cardio warm up, we focus on mobility, strength, and alignment. We then jump into fun and funky choreography combining smooth, fluid jazz technique with sharp, funky hip-hop grooves. Adventurous beginners, as well as experienced movers and shakers, are welcome to join us for this exciting new class!

Performance shoes will be decided in class.
