ADULT CLASSES

BLDC offers several options for Adult Classes throughout the dance season. An Adult Beginning/Intermediate Tap class and Adult Beginning/Intermediate Ballet are offered for the entire school year. We will also hold classes for adult dancers in Jazz, Hip-Hop and Intermediate/Advanced Tap. These classes typically begin in January. Please notify the BLDC office if you are interested in receiving information regarding adult class options.

Intermediate/Advanced Adult Tap
Mondays 8:45-9:30 pm
January 20-April 27
(No Class on April 6)

Requirement: Dancers must have previous tap experience.

Shoes: Any brand/style of Black Tap Shoes. High heels are NOT recommended.

The Adult Advanced Tap class will be focusing their class time on preparing a dance for the spring recitals, May 8 and 9.

14-week session: $165 (New student registration fee $5)

 
Adult Jazz Funk
Adult Jazz Funk is a fusion of jazz and hip-hop dance styles. Beginning each class with a cardio warm up, we focus on mobility, strength, and alignment. Then we jump into fun and funky choreography combining smooth, fluid jazz technique with sharp, funky hip-hop groves. Adventurous beginners and experienced movers and shakers are welcome to join us for this exciting new class!

Thursdays 8:15-9:00 pm
January 23-April 30 (No class on April 9)

Performance shoes will be decided in class.
