Registration is now open for Summer classes at BLDC!

We offer a wide array of classes and camps for students of all ages and ability levels.
Please note, there is a $10.00 summer registration fee for all accounts.

We are happy to answer any questions and are here to help you find the perfect fit for your summertime dance adventures!

Don’t wait to sign up! Class sizes are limited to ensure an appropriate student-to-teacher ratio and they fill quickly.

THEME CAMPS

Our popular theme camps are sure to please your child!
Each fun-filled camp will include dance, activities and crafts, all with a specific theme!

MOANA
Aloha! Come dive into our “Moana” dance camp! Students will stretch their imaginations through creative dance sequences and movement games inspired by the music and story of the movie. Students will also enjoy story-related arts and crafts.

DISNEY JR: BLUEY/MICKEY/PJ MASKS
Join Bluey, Mickey, and the PJ Masks bunch for this camp celebrating some Disney Jr. favorites! We'll "see ya real soon" for this exciting camp filled with dancing, crafts and games!

VICTORIOUS
See yourself in a whole new light... a spotlight! Register today to land a spot at Hollywood Arts! Dance to music from VicTorious in this hip-hop based camp and let your inner superstar shine!

THIS GIRL CAN
This camp will feature our favorite characters who know how to get things done. We love these strong girls who are determined, adventurous, resourceful, confident, loyal and true. Students will participate in dancing, games, and crafting, all celebrating these brave characters.

Are you enchanted with this huge hit movie from Disney? We are too! Come join the magic of the movie as we create dances and crafts inspired by this new Disney classic.

We'll be "Breaking Free" from the heat of summer and getting our "Head In the Game" with our fantastically fun High School Musical Camp!

Can't get enough of "Z-O-M-B-I-E-S!?" Show off your school spirit with cheers and activities straight out of Seabrook High! In this camp, students will learn a dance routine to one of their favorite Z-O-M-B-I-E-S songs!

Join Elsa, Anna, Olaf and their fairytale friends for a week full of fun! Students will dance to through Frozen's inspiring music and enjoy Princess themed games and create sparkling crafts. Make all of your dancer’s dreams come true and join us for “Frozen & Friends” dance camp!

CHILLIN' LIKE A VILLAIN
Get your summer chill on as we bring to life the characters of the Descendants and their parents. Explore the stories and their exciting world in this hip hop and jazz themed dance camp. Each day will be filled with dance class, crafts and activities.

Mini Sessions

KINDERKIDS COMBINATION
A great way to start your child's dance experience or continue their dance education through the summer. Classes include tap and creative movement, incorporating basic ballet skills. Choose one or both sessions.

KinderKids Red: Ages 2.5-4

PRE-BALLET
In this introductory ballet class, students will enjoy exploring the principles of ballet in a fun format perfect for young dancers. The class will cover basic proper terminology, classroom etiquette, stretching and strengthening techniques, and movement exercises designed to improve coordination and gracefulness. Choose one or both sessions.

HIP-HOP FLIP-FLOP
This class is for those high energy little ones that are always ready to show off their dance moves and love to flip around. It combines the basics of hip hop (only age appropriate movement and music) with basic acrobatic skills.

Ages 4-7
Session 1: June 13-29 - Tues. & Thurs. - 6:30-7:30 pm
Session 2: August 1-17 - Tues. & Thurs. - 4:30-5:30 pm
$100 per 6-lesson session

ACRO DANCE
Acro is a style of dance that combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements. A defining characteristic of acro is the smooth, graceful transitions between dance and acrobatic movements. Acro teaches flexibility, balance, strength, muscle control, and above all discipline and concentration. We highly encourage dancers to take Acro class to help enhance their dancing.
Body Language Dance Company is certified in the Acrobatic Arts curriculum.

COMPETITION TEAM MEMBERS: When you fill out your audition form, you will indicate if you would like to register for Acro class this summer. When we receive your form, we will place dancers in the correct level and confirm with you by June 15 for session one and July 12 for session 2. One Acro session can be applied to the summer requirements and will count as one day.

Attire: Dance wear (leotard, dance top and shorts, etc.) No T-shirts or baggy clothing. No shoes.

3-Day Intensives & Multi Discipline Technique Classes

The ballet intensive, tap/jazz intensive and multi-discipline classes are intended for dancers with prior dance experience.
Contact BLDC for placement information.

FOR COMPETITION TEAM STUDENTS:
Dancers are encouraged to attend as many sessions as possible to keep up their training through the summer months.
We highly recommend that students add at least one Acro session as well.
The tap/jazz intensive and ballet intensive will count as 2 days. Tap/Jazz and Ballet Intensives will conclude with a short showcase.
All Standard Competition dancers must attend a minimum of eight intensive days during the summer.
All Competition Plus dancers are required to attend a minimum of ten intensive days during the summer.
