Tap
The students enrolled in tap classes at BLDC study a graded tap syllabus as well as supplementary methods to emphasize proper technique, rhythm, timing, musicality and precise tap sounds. More info on tap at BLDC.

Voice
We are excited to be adding  voice lessons as one of our many course offerings at BLDC. New for 2021, Body Language Dance Company is proud to partner with the Karen Ambs Music Studio to offer voice lessons and audition coaching for students 3rd grade and up! More info on Voice Lessons at BLDC.
We are excited to offer classes for homeschool students conveniently held during the day. Body Language Dance Company is proud to partner with Jenison International Academy (JIA). Taking a dance class can be counted as an arts or physical education credit through JIA! BLDC is also proud to offer voice lessons that can be counted as a music credit through JIA. Although we are partnered with JIA, the homeschool classes are open to anyone participating in a homeschool, hybrid or online program. Offerings for the homeschool program include tap, theatre jazz, ballet, and voice.

Our homeschool classes focus on technique as well as performance quality. However, these classes will not be working on material to perform in the spring recital. If your dancer would like a performance opportunity, we encourage you to add one of our evening classes as well.

Theatre Jazz
Our Broadway Jazz class will focus on applying and bringing together the disciplines of acting, singing and dancing. Students will learn proper dance technique while exploring the various dance styles used in Broadway shows. More info on Theatre/Broadway Jazz at BLDC.

Ballet
Disciplined training in classical ballet technique provides the foundation for the development of the dancer. Body Language Dance Co. is known for building strong dancers with solid technique, largely in part because of the strength of our ballet program. More info on Ballet at BLDC.
